Style Bubble first explored the
Christopher Kane-Topshop capsule collection on Oxford Street, and now several items are available on the
Topshop website (meaning Americans can order them).

The items sell for about a tenth of Kane's normal price; unfortunately, the pound-dollar exchange rate's one cruel mistress.
For example, this
sheer ruffle top (left)? £45.00 + £10.00 shipping = $107.00.
This wonderful
bandeau dress (right)? £130.00 = $253.00. Oy. Still, it's incredibly cheap for Kane, and it will go
fast.
Speaking of (more affordable) capsule collections, I've been impressed with Proenza Schouler's efforts for Target.

I think it's the first Go International collection to hold up in person, which is why I just made my first ever Go International purchase--this
navy blue/black silk colorblock dress (lower left).
I'm delighted with it. The fabric's decent and the dress is fully lined, with excellent details on the bodice (see below, click for larger images). It's handwashable, not dry clean only (a big plus for me), and looks significantly more expensive than it cost ($44.99).
The only potential downside is that it's oddly tight in the chest, so if you are big-boned or have a large C cup or higher, try before you buy. Good for petites and those with fuller hips.
P.S. Can't wait for the blue bustier to come out (Target Corp. person who
visits my site--any idea when the bustiers will arrive in store?).
