I received two Adorn magazines by accident, so we'll have a contest.
Prize: Two issues of
Adorn magazine (Spring '07 & Summer '07, right). They are brand new & unread, in other words
not my subscription copies. I will ship overseas (up to $11.00 worth of shipping--anything over that, and we'll need to talk). UPDATE: Prize now includes
2 issues of Blueprint.
Deadline: June 20th.
Contest Question: What is your best reuse or revamp of an unwanted item?
As an example, I submit my
gum box/underwear organizers; revamps of thrift store finds or wardrobe/household rejects, or any reuse of trash qualify (see
D.I.Y. Betty for inspiration). The ideas do not have to be original, although the more original they are, the better your chance of winning (note: one entry per person).
Depending on the number of entries, I'll select 3 to 5 finalists, then readers will vote for their favorite.
Submission Checklist:
- I need at least one thumbnail of the finished product. Before pictures are appreciated, but not required. If you've already posted the project online, just send me the link.
- Please submit a blurb of no more than 200 words about your submission. Instructional blurbs are best (where did you buy materials, how long did it take, and of course, any compliments you've received, etc.).
- Please submit a link to your site (blog, business website, webstore).
- Send all of the above to shesabetty AT gmail DOT com, subject "Adorn Contest." We will not give your email to anybody or use it for anything other than this contest.
