For Christian Siriano fans, tis the season to rejoice. The Project Runway 4 winner has teamed up with Payless ShoeSource to create the ‘Christian Siriano for Payless’ line. In a statement released by the designer:

Im so excited to design and create with such an amazing brand that is all about fashion and trend but, most importantly, is also about affordability, Ive already been working with the Payless Design Team in New York, and I cant wait to see how they will take the highend shoes and bags Im designing for the runway and turn them into pieces that everyone can buy. Im all about the runway and the sidewalks!

The collection will be unveiled during New York Week next February 2009 and will be available in Payless stores and Payless.com in the Fall of 2009 with prices in the $25-$49 range. For those of you who can’t wait until 2009 to get your hands on the shoes, find out how you can easily re-create these shoes seen on Christian Siriano’s Spring 2009 fashion runway.

Yet another sale. I can’t keep track of all the sales that have been springing up of late.

While all the sales are possibly another indication oftroublefor retailers who are hoping for anycash-flow boost during the current uncertain economic climate;they remaingood news for all of us hoping to make our budgets stretch just a little bit further. I certainly hope most of our favorite shoe retailers weather through the current financial troubles without too much difficulty.
