TSE Spring 2008
TSE designer Tess Giberson had some audience members crying on Wednesday. Such is the power of an innovative collection paired with killer accessories. Boxy safari jackets, roomy silk shifts, and anorak-style coats all had the essence of Gibersons experimental aesthetic without treading into avant-guard territory. (Of course there were a few fashiony looks–namely the jumpsuits–that were the kind of Giberson signatures that landed her the TSE gig in the first place.) Manolo Blahniks patent gladiator sandals had editors mouths watering, while TSEs own line of bagsin mustard, gray, and purple for springtempted all as well.
