It's funny how our "favorite color" changes over time. For about a decade I was into red. Couldn't get enough of it in clothes, furnishings, housewares. Then I started working with models and talent in the entertainment industry so black became the norm. But a closet full of black just doesn't work out here in Los Angeles, so I find myself noticing colors again and I'm finding my favorite color right now is blue--from the deep jeweled sapphire tone that can stand in for black to the subdued robin's egg blue I put on the walls of my bath to the soothing aqua tones in today's VPOD.This 1970s dress by Pauline Trigere evokes the ocean for me even though it's motif is water lillies.
