Dover Street Market, the concept store in London has really got into the Christmas spirit by bringing us the Happy Ribbon collection as part of Christmas at Comme Des Garcons, roping in designers like Alber Elbaz to produce sweet little bow ties, Rei Kawakubo to design jewellery and cuddly toys and raiding Ann Demeulemeester's archive for ribbon embroidered accessories. I think I've used the word 'ribbondry' a fair few times on this blog so a collection entitled 'Happy Ribbon' at DSM means that any of my friends reading should take note!
Dover Street Market also just laucnhed their
online store yesterday selling Comme Des Garcons SHIRT, perfumes and wallet. It looks a little sparse at the moment but I would definitely watch that space with an eagle eye.
Finally, trust DSM to go for Christmas windows with a difference.
Charles Anastase has taken over the windows of DSM London and Tokyo with wedding gowns, bunny rabbits, china teasets and a Stuart Haygarth chandelier.
