Last night, the 41st Annual Country Music Awardswere televised on ABC.  I love these awards simply because unlike so many award shows and events, this is a time when the kings and queens of country music get gussied up in their very best duds and bring on a real good time.

If anyone knows how to make an entrance, it’s Carrie Underwood - who took home Female Vocalist Of The Year and also walked away with Single Of The Year for her hit, “Before She Cheats.”  Last night, Underwood was absolutely stunning - she makes it all look so easy, but we girls know this stuff takes time.  

Carrie wore jewelry from the Johnathon Arndt Collection. The 18 KT pink gold and diamond ladies watch, which hosts 19ct of diamonds and Swiss movement is a Johnathon Arndt original, which retails for $295,000. 00 Underwood wore a total of nine pieces and approximately seven million dollars worth of jewels from her red carpet arrival and performance to the after party.  That’s a lot of bling!

If you look real close, you can see that she’s also wearing gold eyeliner and she’s got just a hint of gold glitter on her arms and chest. As I write this, I’m not certain who designed the gown, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and the bag is such a perfect match that Carrie gets my vote for best dressed at last night’s CMA event.
