Created in 2001 by a group of humanitarians from Southern California, Jedediah was established on the belief that self gratification and greed is less fulfilling and more than a hindrance than helping out where help is needed. Thus, the mission of this brand is to reshape the fashion industry by creating a line rooted in love, and with the one aspiration to help the less privileged through clothing.
How is Jedidiah changing the fashion industry? Unlike other brands, Jedidiah doesnt conveniently sponsor a cause. Every year, 1% of Jedidiahs total earnings is donated to humanitarian groups and social aid programs around the globe. In addition, they have created the Hope Collection, (similar to GAPs Product Red Line) which is a line of 10 different t-shirts supporting various causes around the world as well. 40% of revenues from the sale of these tees will be given to the corresponding social aid programs.
