You know the "everything is big in Texas" cliche? Well, it's completely true... just not in the literal sense. The saying should be "everything is
done big in Texas." From the purses (the latest designer varieties) to the cars (BMWs for the under 20 set) to the hair (blonde, blonde, blode), the big D is big fun.
But my little Midwestern town is a breath of fresh air after a go-go-go week in Dallas. I missed my laidback evenings, my minimal-makeup policy, my "toss-on-a-skirt-and-go" dress code. Most of all I missed the daily chronicling on teenfashionista. I kept thinking, "Oh I need to write about this!" or "oh, the girls (erm, as in you, the reader) would love to hear about that!"
So except frequent updates. As in, so many updates your head will spin. Tomorrow, once I catch up on sleep, of course.
