Well, tomorrow is an important day in the world of gaming. Why? Well, it’s when we get to see all the cool assed new games that will be coming out within the next year at the E3 Expo which takes place about this time every year. Even though the E3 Expo has been toned down to have a better focus and be more “targeted”, according to Gamasutra, there will still be lots of cool stuff to see and do, if you’re one of the lucky few who will be able to attend.
This means a lot in the world of adventure gaming and more specifically, games that I will find enjoyable and will probably play. That lucky dude over at Kotaku has compiled a list of companies and some of the games that they will either feature or have trailers for, playable or otherwise. Let’s take a look and see what type of cool games the ol’ Adventuress will find enjoyable:
Activision
- Call of Duty IV - What? I like blowing stuff up on occasion… even if it is in a FPS… Mike over at FPS Rantings will be happy.
Electronic Arts
- MySims… I’m just curious to see what this is all about. Don’t know if I’d play it, but the sound of it is interesting.
- Medal of Honor Airborne - Okay… so I like war games. Shoot me.
- Tiger Woods ‘08 - I love me some Tiger Woods golf games. There is nothing finer to do on a boring Sunday than listen to the announcer guy, David Feherty, make fun of you.
Microsoft
- Fable 2 - Doesn’t this game just sound awesome? The developers are really trying to get the gamer to feel actual emotion and such for the character, which is pretty darn cool for a computer game. It’ll help the nerds out there who can’t find love in real life… right?
Gamecock
- There is a game on Gamecock’s list that hasn’t been identified yet. Could it possibly be a trailer to their new game, Insecticide? Hopefully it’ll be better than the game play video I saw the other day. Yuck
Majesco
- Nancy Drew for the DS. I’m not a real big Nancy Drew fan, but it’s an adventure and we love adventures here.
NCSoft
- Tabula Rasa - this one is Richard Garriott’s new brain child… and we all know that I have a stiffy when it comes to Richard Garriott… okay… not really. He’s kind of ugly, but he’s still awesome.
Sierra
- An unannounced title… could this be the new game that Double Fine could be doing? What are those people at Double Fine up to anyways? According to The International House of Mojo, Double Fine has joined up with Sierra to make a brand new game. Anything coming from Double Fine will be awesome.
Square Enix
- Lots of Final Fantasy stuff… my brother will be in heaven.
So, there are the games that I’ll be looking forward to. To see the complete list that Kotaku has put together, you may click here. Remember, this is only a preliminary list… so there might be even more stuff that actually goes on that we may be unprepared for… That’ll be awesome.
