It would seem that the funny and witty adventure games of yore are being replaced more and more by those creepy thriller type adventure games that give you nightmares at night. With games like Scratches out there keeping people awake at night, I wonder why people like horror games so much? Is it because ita??s the only thing that can get their blood pumping, their heart racing, their mind to play tricks on them? Now, mea?| I can watch any scary movie. I never get scared watching a scary movie. While my friends around me jump when stuff jumps out at them, I can sit there and say, a??Ummm, you could totally see that coming.a?? But now, with these computer games and console games that are meant to put some fright in your life, I cana??t handle the pressure. Scary games really creep me out. I am so involved with my games that even when I KNOW something is going to jump out and get me, it doesna??t matter. I jump 12 feet into the air and run crying to my bedroom.
Well, there is a new game due to come out that is meant to haunt your nightmares. The game is called Penumbra: Overture and was developed by a Swedish game studio called Frictional Games. The game is suppose to be part of a trilogy, so if you become hooked on the first one, which is due out on March 30th, have no fear. There will be two more games for your twisted little heart to conquer.

Like all good nightmares, Philipa??s begins with something all too real - his mothera??s death. The days following the funeral are characterized by nothing, save for an incessant feeling of abandonment. Until, that is, he receives a letter from a dead man.
