The shape of this 'Nella' mesh satchel by Burberry struck me as oddly, but extremely familiar. Its a dead ringer for the Kooba 'Charlie' duffle that enchanted me so much a few months ago. Dual bands vertically striping up the bag and forming short handles, the slight concavity at the top and especially that deep pleat in the center, all remind me deeply of the 'Charlie'. Not saying A copied B or any such thing - I'm just admiring the similarities because I like these features in both bags quite a bit. Whereas the 'Charlie' came in a deep, rich black that I quite liked, the Burberry features fascinating tonal mesh in a metallic silver that is quite irresistible. It is available for pre-order at Neiman Marcus for US$2295.
