zzzzzzz… zzzzzzzzz… zzzzzzzz…
I must say, the view from the 50th Anniversary Grammy Awards red carpet was a huge disappointment for me. I kind of wanted to keep watching reruns of Making the Band instead of watching Giuliana Rancic from E! making celebrities feel uncomfortable during her red carpet interviews. Um, Fergie, you don’t have to tell her if you trust your new hubby-to-be while you’re both on the road.
You tell me, were the fashions from the red carpet this year less than desirable or what?

Alicia Keys - is she holding a mini football?

Beyonce looks like she’s getting ready to do a number on Dancing with the Stars in that gown. And what’s up with the hair Ms. 40/40?

Carrie Underwood looking sweet as usual. I wish she would do something different with her hair but overall, I really like her dress.

Faith Hill is always flawless and stunning. But this dress like others this year weren’t very reminiscent of rock ‘n roll and the fun we normally get to see from the Grammy red carpets.

I was really hoping we’d see something off-the-wall from Fergie. Her yellow Calvin Klein was pretty but it was all to demure for me.

Love, love the purple jewel-tone on Natasha Bedingfield! An absolutely gorgeous color on her!

Oh Rihanna, Rihanna - what are you wearing?? Does it remind you of the disaster she wore at the American Music Awards??

Best New Artist nominee Taylor Swift’s periwinkle blue dress is another gown that’s way to costume-y for the red carpet - blah.
Did you watch the Grammy awards tonight? Did you spot any red carpet-worthy gowns that I missed here? Share them with me because I’m about to have big-time withdrawals. The only thing I have to keep me going are the men tonight - Ludacris, John Legend and Jay-Z look very polished, I thought I was watching the Oscar’s red carpet for a moment there!
Toodles everyone! I’m about to watch the Grammy Awards Show now; hopefully my picks win! Now where’s my scorecard again? Oh right, here it is! Did your favorites bring home any awards tonight?
