Fans eagerly awaiting the next TOM CRUISE blockbuster will have to wait until 2009 -- as 'Valkyrie' has been pushed back to a February 13 Presidents Day release.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, MGM has moved the release date from October to February 13 ( Presidents Day Weekend). Studio reps tell HR they saw an opening for Presidents Day and took advantage of that opportunity.
Directed by BRYAN SINGER, 'Valkyrie' is based on actual events surrounding the assassination attempt of ADOLF HITLER during World War II.
