TORI SPELLING is one "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum who'd like to be part of the show's contemporary spin-off, now under development by the CW. According to People, Spelling hasn't been offered a role by producers yet, but the actress (who played good girl Donna on the popular '90s teen soap) is bubbling with ideas as to how she might fit in.
"Well, I am a mom now, proud to say, but obviously too young to have a teenager, so maybe I could be one of the main characters' young step-mom," Spelling, who's pregnant with baby No. 2, told the mag. "Playing the funny sex ed teacher at the high school would be funny, too, considering Donna Martin was America's most infamous virgin."
A breakdown for the remake's pilot was released Monday night by the CW. Though none of the characters appear directly related to big names from the original series, it is nevertheless curious that 16-year-old Daphne Silver and her older brother, Max Silver, have the same last name as David Silver (BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN), who married Donna Martin in the '90210' series finale. Hmmmm....
