'The Insider' has the latest...
The truth may still be out there, but small clues about the upcoming 'X-Files' movie sequel are starting to surface.
On Wednesday, 'X-Files' creator CHRIS CARTER and co-writer FRANK SPOTNITZ unveiled the as-yet-untitled film's trailer during the 25th annual William S. Paley Television Festival, per The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie, which reunites DAVID DUCHOVNY and GILLIAN ANDERSON as FBI agents Mulder and Scully who investigate the paranormal, will pick up six years after the end of the original TV series, which ran on FOX from 1993 to 2002. While it will distance itself from the alien mythology of the show, it will still touch upon certain aspects of the series, like whether Scully's child will be normal.
