Even if you’re too old to make your mom a macaroni necklace (and have it be appreciated) that doesn’t mean that you can’t make her something from your heart. It’s a great way to not buy anything, or at least buy minimally maybe. Ultimately it really is about the thought behind it. A necklace from Tiffany & Co. from your jerkwad kid doesn’t really mean anything if you didn’t put any feeling behind it. So here’s my little list of things she might enjoy pampering herself with that you can tailor to suit her needs.
- A lovely glass jar filled with bath salts and essential oils. Almost anything will work, it just depends on what mama likes.
- DIY homemade beauty kit. You can compile all the ingredients for your favorite body scrub or whatever and let her put it together herself. You can include some extra options so she can make more than one potion out of the same base ingredients.
- The best gift…well duh make your mom dinner. Turn the tables, put a lot of effort into it. I’m sure she will love it. No this one doesn’t have anything to do with beauty products but it says, “hey I care about you and the environment.”
Any other ideas folks because I’m kinda spent on this one. Help me out!
