Derek Lam deserves an award for handbag originality…first rams horns as hardware, and now ribbed leather? Good work. This Bombay Tote is actually more “Indie” than “India,” though the cool material it’s made of is ribbed black madras leather. The ribbing gives the purse a unique touch that’s only made better by the bottom wraparound zipper and smooth leather trim set off by loop-like rolled leather handles. It’s also functional, with an open top and multiple storage compartments lurking within. I for one love this tote; it’s versatile enough for semi-daily use, but totally stands out with its modern, edgy design. Save one for me, girls!
