Summer TV is always a bit dull and drab but it⿿s the one time of year when I voluntarily motivate my lazy body from the couch cushions, to squeeze a little social life into my jam-packed television schedule.
But now that MTV⿿s The Hills is in full swing, I find my Mondays getting cushy-casual as I sink into the living room sofa with a pint of Chinese food for a delicious evening of scandal and drama. (Heidi gets feisty and paints over Spencer⿿s ⿿beautiful mural.⿿ L.C. is grossed out by Audrina⿿s greasy BF⿿s burps. Etc. etc.) Okay, it ain⿿t ⿿scandal⿿ but it sure is fun!
Point is, my Monday evenings have been hijacked by The Hills! And the unseasonably dreary NYC weather currently depressing all Manhattanites certainly isn⿿t motivating me to pep up and party on Tuesday through Sunday. So, I have a new plan to occupy my guaranteed indoor evenings for the next couple of days.
I⿿m going to purchase the whole Ugly Betty season! It just became available on DVD (and only costs $36.99.) I missed so many episodes due to work events, red carpet obligations, etc. (I know, I know ⿿woe is me!⿿) And, I⿿m ordering next day delivery!!!! So that tomorrow night I⿿ll be dining on my take out enchiladas con Betty Suarez!
