The
Oscar de la Renta show would have been on my “To See” list if I was there in New York. Looking at the pictures provided by
Coutorture Media, I was not disappointed in the least bit. Here are what the bloggers are saying:
Omiru - Oscar de la Renta’s collection truly embodies the season its being designed for. As with so many other collections, volume was a
key trend. In keeping with the bubble silhouette of the season, Oscar directed the volume to move down south to skirts and bottoms of dresses.
Platinum Blonde Life - ...the bold color palette that dominated this collection was like a breathe of fresh air this fashion week. overall, i have to say bravo! Bravo!
Couture in the City - The voluminous silhouettes and the floaty airy evening dresses are feminine and pretty - two words consistently used to describe de la Renta. They hint at an old school glamour that is the essence of de la Renta, but what else is
there we haven't seen before?
This collection is definitely made for the sophisticated fashionista. Granted, nothing here is particularly innovative - but you can't get away from how beautiful the pieces are. Pictured here are my favorites...
