Its on like popcorn this September….
Gwen Stefani will introduce her new Harajuku Lovers fragrance this fall, and has created dolls based on herself and the four of her real-life backup dancers, Love, Angel, Music & Baby which she has turned into perfume bottles. Stefani tells WWD magazine:
“I didn’t think this project would actually come to life. The idea that Coty would let me do five different fragrances for Harajuku Lovers was a fantasy. [But] it really had to be five, because that’s what the world is. Each girl has her own personality and sense of style. We’re all saying something different with unique personalities.”
The fragrance are individually inspired by Stefanis interpretation of her backup dancers, which consist of sweet aromatic scents that are surely bound to fly off department store shelves. The fragrance will each be available in two sizes: $45 for 30 ml. & $25 for 10 ml, each price point was given to encourage multiple purchases. The idea is sheer genius of Stefanis part and I cant wait to take a look at the out come of this project set to be released this Fall….so be sure to check it out!
