In a Today Show interview, Jennifer Hudson admitted to Matt Lauer today that her outfit was her only Oscar regret - adding fuel to a
Page Six report that Hudson was forced to wear the much-criticized metallic bolero jacket picked by her stylist, Vogue editor Andre Leon Tally.

Jennifer was kind of sponsored by Talley and Vogue, says a
Page Six source. Andre insisted she wear that hideous Oscar de la Renta dress with the awful, awful gold python bolero. Jennifer really didnt want to, and so [noted celebrity stylist] Jessica Paster got her a beautiful gold Roberto Cavalli custom-made. But when Andre found out, he went ballistic. Moments before she left for the show, there was a power struggle and Jennifer ended up putting his outfit on.I suppose with Jennifer so new on the scene she feels she did not have a voice with heavyweights in the fashion industry tell her she was "fierce" in that dress. I really feel sorry for her if her big night was ruin by that horrible gold jacket...as least the Oscar went some way to repair the damage.http://redcarpetfashionawards.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
