The "Toxic" singer missed Wednesday's deposition.

KEVIN FEDERLINE's lawyer intends to seek sanctions against BRITNEY SPEARS for missing her deposition Wednesday in the warring exes' child custody case, the Associated Press reports.
"This can be done with her active participation or without it," K-Fed's attorney MARK VINCENT KAPLAN tells the AP.
As ET previously reported, Britney was supposed to testify at Kaplan's office on Wednesday but pulled a no-show, calling in sick instead. Now, Kaplan claims he will request that the court punish the pop star before the next scheduled court date of Jan. 23.
