I'm not really a perfume reviewer, y'all. I have no expertise on this subject - I just know what I like. I'll do my best, though.
According to the materials sent with the fragrance, the Nanette Lepore fragrance top notes are "Moonstone Rose, white peach and white cranberry", mid notes are "magenta nectar, black currant, orange jasmine and Persian lime juice" and the dry down is "violet, amber and Indian sandalwood". Okay, to me, that sounds exactly like how a wine connosieur would describe her favorite wine. I don't know that I smell all that, but I do understand and agree that it starts off as a delicate, flowery fragrance, becoming a more fruity and tarter fragrance and finally settling in (after several hours) as a warmer, earthier scent.
I'm not a huge fan of florals, but this is an exception. I love it. The scent is very feminine, but not girly. I definitely feel like a grown woman when I wear it. And I love seeing the little pink bottle on my dresser.
