After ending his licensing agreement with Revman International for his bedding and bath pieces (that outfitted my college dorm), Tommy Hilfiger has a new license and a new vision for home collection!
Hilfiger’s new home collection will continue the designer’s “classic American cool sensibility with a twist.” For spring, think summer days at the beach while the fall 2014 additions will have a preppy collegiate feel,” Women’s Wear Daily reports.
“I’ve always been inspired by iconic American homes, and my wife Dee and I enjoy finding great art and cool vintage pieces to create an eclectic vibe,” the American designer explained. “I had a lot of fun combining those inspirations with my love of design to the new Tommy Hilfiger home line.
When the home décor line launches next spring it will include bedding, bath, tabletop décor, and decorative accessories. The fall will bring furniture and rugs. Everything will be available in select Tommy Hilfiger stores, Macy’s, select department stores in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and on Tommy.com.
“We are leveraging Tommy Hilfiger’s global recognition and continued momentum to create a truly iconic international home collection,” Dow Famulak, president of LF USA, where Hilfiger’s new licensing deal was forged.
Sounds like a world takeover to us!
