Watch out Calvin Klein; H&M is stripping down to its skivvies once more for the Super Bowl 48!
H&M’s first foray into commercials during football’s biggest game introduced the Swedish brand’s new underwear line in 2012, and now they are back with a bang. This time, H&M will make its triumphant return to the Super Bowl with a new David Beckham bodywear campaign that allows customers to buy pieces instantly!
“We’re thrilled to be back in action at the Super Bowl, showcasing our new campaign,” Daniel Kulle, president of H&M North America said in a press release. “We’re bringing our A-game, the world’s top style and the best quality bodywear to the largest stage in the world.”
Viewers with select Samsung Smart TVs will be able to buy pieces from the new David Beckham collection instantly during the Super Bowl through the t-commerce platform—a first for fashion. “H&M is the first retailer to launch a fully enable t-commerce campaign that includes shopping from a campaign, as well as launching an H&M t-commerce boutique in the ShopTV marketplace,” the release stated.
The innovative ad will run during the 2nd quarter of the big game on February 2nd 2014.
