It was only a matter of time, right? Vogue UK reported that Cara Delevingne is the new face of Topshop, though the retailer has yet to confirm the news. The two most of-the-moment London entities are now properly united in what we anticipate being a pretty kickass global campaign for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2014 season.
Delevinge’s role starts up later this summer, so we’ll just, you know, wait with bated breath until she shares the photos via Instagram. Delevingne will be the first solo face to appear in a Topshop campaign, fronting both print and outdoor advertisements as well as in-store graphics. Over the past couple of years, the young model has worked with Victoria’s Secret, starred in campaigns for Burberry, Mulberry and YSL, designed a collection of bags for Mulberry, collaborated on a capsule collection with DKNY and taken up acting. Honestly, we’re shocked it took this long for Topshop to get their hands on this London It-girl, but we’re glad they finally did.
