The “Call Me Maybe” singer is the first face of Burt’s Bees’ bath and body spinoff Güd and its newest scent, Red Ruby Groovy. The new range of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion blends notes of grapefruit, black currant, mandarin on top; apple papaya, and thyme at the heart plus a musk base.
Jepsen has been a long-time Burt’s Bees fan, thanks to her mother who gave her the brand’s famous lip balms as stocking stuffers over the years. She also noted that she was immediately drawn to the new bath and body scent. “I’ve always been attracted to thing that smell feminine,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. “I don’t mind if my boyfriend wants to get a little closer than usual, and I like things that are energizing. This is a combination of both. I feel very womanly, and it makes me sort of ready to take on more.”
The print campaigns time-travel a bit with a 1950s and ’70s feel and will be featured in the May issues of Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Allure. We can’t wait to see the final results!
