Catherine Malandrino is doing more in Las Vegas than partying; she’s also unveiling her diffusion line.
The Catherine Catherine Malandrino Fall 2013 collection will be unveiled this week during WWD’s Magic. The designer has been working closely with investors Elie Tahari and Adam S. Levine to rebuild her brand from the ground up, including the 150-piece collection but it doesn’t lose Malandrino’s signature sense of whimsy.
The team is already looking to expand globally as well as in affordable market with shoes, accessories, and even a fragrance next year! “Catherine has got a great eye – shoes, handbags, jewelry, underwear – those are categories that are untapped for us,“ Tahari told Women’s Wear Daily. “The world consists on many levels, with many products and many categories. The goal is to build a global brand and this is one step in that process.”
Available at department stores nationwide in August for $49-$400.
