With such a high profile job as an E! News correspondent, Catt Sadler needs to look the part as she’s covering red carpets and talking to our favorite celebrities. Often she relies on young designers for a fresh take on fashion.

“I love to cover fashion week,” Sadler told GLAM at Ford’s Pursuit of a Happy Commute. “I love being backstage and interviewing the Vera Wangs of the world, the Monique Lhuilliers and a lot of emerging young designers.”

She continued, “I used to love covering music. I grew up on a stage, I was in a band, but these days, I really love covering fashion. It’s so fun, there are so many unknown designers around the world that I like. My stylist and I will research to find their pieces. If I wear them on E! News, it gives them a lot of love and attention. I like supporting young designers.”

Who’s on her radar right now?

“There are a couple out of Australia right now—and I don’t know if they’re still considered young—but they’re definitely up and coming. Paolo Sebastian, I wore to the Golden Globes. A lot of people hadn’t heard his name before I wore him to the Globes, and then it just so happened Guiliana Rancic wore him to the Oscars. He makes a lot of pretty formal wear.”

Also, “Keepsake The Label. A couple years ago, I was really into Sachin and Babi. They were coming up and now they’re killing it. Paper London, too.”

It’s always a treat when consumers are fans of the fashion industry, isn’t it?
