Save the Music
VH1 is bringing the rock star aesthetic to the masses and it’s all for a good cause. For the first time ever the VH1 Save the Music Foundation has introduced their “Big Shopping” event online. A slew of celebrities were invited to the W Time Square to preview the goods and find their favorite way to show their support.  Katharine McPhee sported an icy blond cut that fit with Skyn Iceland’s aesthetic. The songstress tested the merits of moisturizing your under eyes and staying hydrated to avoid looking and feeling exhausted. Twilight’s Billy Burke jumped into W Hotels’ famed comfybeds and spent a great deal of time playing Lego Rock Band. Just a regular afternoon for the actor, whose much anticipated film had premiered the night before. The City’s Eric Lucas was particularly taken with the jewels from Alex Woo and Alex and Ani. We were totally overwhelmed by the magnanimous brands in attendance, who share VHI’s commitment to promoting cultural education and “saving the music.” After meeting the lovely owners of Shoptwigs.com and checking out the collections they carry for the cause, we sat down to an amazing manicure from Zoya. With freshly painted nails and a smile on our face we danced out into time square to feel the holiday spirit. To check out some of the amazing products visit vh1bigshopping.com.
