Christie Brinkley Helps Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness

Supermodel Christie Brinkley is helping  in the fight against breast cancer. As Danskin’s “Move for Change” spokesperson, she hosted an event in Southampton for Ellen’s Run to raise money for the Ellen P. Hermanson Foundation benefiting women suffering from breast cancer. Stylist Phillip Bloch and Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan checked out the tents and autographed the Inspiration Wall where runners and attendees signed to support to the cause. Christie also presented a check for $10,000 on behalf of Danskin to the charity, which will help equip hospitals acquire the proper technology for early detection and provide social services for families of people with breast cancer.
