Claridge’s Lanvin Christmas Tree

Claridge’s has long been known as the London destination of choice for fashionable and discerning travelers. So it’s no surprise that Alber Elbaz of Lanvin was asked to design and decorate the iconic hotel’s Christmas tree.

The tree and its surrounding scene showcases Elbaz’s fantasy holiday. The spectacular tree itself features glittery, festive adornments and colored lights. Instead of an angel or star, a replica of Mr. Elbaz dressed in fairy wings tops the over-the-top tree. Adjacent, an interesting scene also unfolds as Mr. and Mrs. Lanvin sip cocktails — with Mr. Lanvin’s mystery mistress. A Claridge’s butler and chic maid round out the elegant evening affair.
