Following on the heels of the Versace for H&M success, the retailer is partnering up with another venerable Italian brand. Marni is the latest designer to collaborate with H&M; the fashion house will create a collection of clothing and accessories for men and women filled with its signature prints and playful aesthetic. Boldly printed pleated skirts and dresses, cropped pants and jacquard knits in vivid colors and light fabrics create a flirtatious look for the ladies. Updated classic silhouettes with subtle contrasting prints create a relaxed look for men. Marni’s Founder and Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni brought out the best pieces from her line for the collection.
“I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints,” she said. “As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal and with Bauhuas graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements.”
The Marni for H&M collection will be available March 8, 2012 at over 250 stores worldwide and online.
