  • I've always known I'd be a writer. As a child, when everyone else was outside playing soccer, I could be found in my mother's closet doused in her perfume and swathed in a fur flipping through her fashion magazines. What is meant to be is meant to be.

  • What are your Favorite Ways to Look Effortlessly Chic?
  • My personal style can best be described as 'lazy luxe'. On any given day you can catch me in a pair of black pumps, skinny jeans, and a slouchy t-shirt with a large purse slung across my shoulder. But know this—the pumps will be Christian Louboutin, the jeans will be J Brand, the tee will be Alexander Wang, and the purse will be Chanel. You can never go wrong wearing well-cut clothes in simple silhouettes along with well-designed accessories that are eternally stylish. With beauty, I always think 'Diana Ross' or 'Robert Palmer Girl'. Diva Diana rocks her big fluffy curls with confidence; therefore so do I. Regarding the Robert Palmer reference, bypass a bad hair day with a taut low bun or ponytail. And a slick of red lipstick revs up any look.
