The Costume Institute Sets Sights On China

So it goes in fashion, the industry that focuses not on this season, but the next one and in which designers show clothes that won’t actually hit stores for months. Similarly, it might seem like the Charles James-themed gala was just yesterday, but The Costume Institute already has its sights set on the East for the 2015 event. Talk of a China-inspired spring exhibition is swirling, but before that happens, a fall event is being planned, WWD reports. No word yet as to who will sponsor or which designers will be involved—check back for updates!
