Crowd Surfing with Tom Ford

It’s unclear who wore it better, but as far as sexy mosaic mini dresses go, Tom Ford definitely won with this one. We pretty much fell in love when the Spring 2014 look walked down the runway. And when Beyoncé stepped out in the dazzling, skintight creation, with matching thigh-high boots, no less, our mouths seriously hit the floor (or maybe it was still there, as we were still reeling from the shock of Beyoncé’s secret album drop). And now, the dress is front-and-center in Tom Ford’s Spring/Summer 2014 ad campaign.

Shot by Ford himself, the campaign features model Esther Heesch crowd surfing while wearing pieces from his coveted Spring/Summer 2014 collections – including, yes, that dress. We can’t say that we’re not upset that the matching boots weren’t a part of the shoot, but the other shoes that did make it into the photos are on point. The campaign gives off a rockstar vibe and showcases the hot-factor of Tom Ford’s designs, which include the Beyoncé-approved mosaic dress, lace-up booties, chain-link heels, netted tops, thick-framed glasses and a handcuff-esque clutch. Perhaps we have Tom to thank for rising temperatures.
