Emily Current and Meritt Elliott are returning to store shelves after leaving their eponymous denim line last year…just not in the section you’d expect.

The designer duo teamed up with PBTeen, Pottery Barn’s little sister, for a 37-piece collection of furniture and home accessories inspired by their favorite activities when they were kids—Boxcar Children and playing dress up. The pieces include two bedding and pillow collections, a chambray upholstered chaise lounge, a heart-engraved tree stump table, a bronze bunny lamp, and even a ceramic unicorn ring holder. Jill Larue-Rieser, senior vice president and general merchandising manager for PBteen, described the collection as “a whimsical approach to classic Americana style with vintage-inspired glamor.”

Current and Elliott impressed the home decor retailer with their experience, and the pair found the lines between home and fashion blurring throughout the design process. “We applied the same fundamentals that we use in styling and designing like high-low, the hand of fabrics, the proportions. So at some point it blurred the lines,” Elliott explained to Women’s Wear Daily. “Everything has character and doesn’t feel brand crisp new, like maybe it’s been passed down or is a found object with a story to tell.”

Though the team is working on a spring collection for PBTeen, they haven’t left their love of fashion behind. The pair are hard at work on their next fashion line and even a denim coffee table book for Rizzoli. “It’s inevitable, and we are really excited about the next chapter,” Current said of the upcoming clothing line. “All this has helped solidify what we want to do in terms of creating a lifestyle brand.”

The collection will be released online September 18th and in-store September 20th.
