David Bowie Throws a Masquerade Ball in Latest Louis Vuitton Ad

By  November 12, 2013

On a mysterious evening in Venice, David Bowie plays host to a luxurious 16th century themed costume party, complete with gold encrusted chandeliers, a grand piano, and guests waltzing in aristocratic garb and powder wigs. This is the storyline of Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign commercial, directed by Romain Gavras and featuring Bowie belting ”I’d Rather Be High” from his latest album The Next Day and the beautiful Arizona Muse as his leading lady.

Get captivated by the whimsical allure of this edition of the Louis Vuitton’s L’Invitation au Voyage series, and try not to not feel even a smidgen of style envy over Muse’s beautiful $5,000 “Vivienne” bag. Both Miranda Kerr and Emma Watson have already been spotted carrying it. Le sigh.
