Faded Rose Ombré

By  February 12, 2014

Zac Posen’s spring 2014 ultra-romantic, rococo ruffled gowns and voluminous floral prints in dusty pastels inspired this faded rose garden manicure. Using Morgan Taylor polishes in two shades of pink, the ombré look is totally appropriate for your next garden gathering.

Items Needed:
Morgan Taylor Lacquer in Coming Up Roses
Morgan Taylor Lacquer in Polished Up
Top coat

1.

Paint two even coats of Coming Up Roses for base color. Let base coats dry.

2.

Take a small corner of a makeup sponge and dip it into lighter pink, Polished Up.

3.

Starting at edge of nail, lightly sponge Polished Up across tip of nail.

4.

Repeat sponging across nail to build a stronger ombré effect.

5.

Let ombré dry and seal with top coat.
