We’re suckers for a great smoky eye look, and that’s just what Allison Williams had at the Golden Globes. It wasn’t too over the top, so in the daytime’s bright sunlight, it looked perfectly in place. The subtle, light, shimmery sheen under her eyeliner was the ideal finishing touch. She polished off her red-carpet-worthy ensemble with a slicked-back do, crafted by Anthony Campbell.
Hair: To start, Campbell washed and conditioned Allison’s hair and gently towel-dried it. He then applied a dollop of amplifier and blow-dried her hair using a large flat brush to achieve a pin-straight look, making sure the hair-dryer wasn’t too hot, which can cause dryness, breakage, and frizz. Once her hair was completely dry, he created a deep side-part for added elegance. Campbell then ran a flatiron over her hair, section by section, and finished off each piece with a spritz of finishing spray. To finish, Campbell added a few drops of a light hair oil to increase shine for an added pop without weighing down Allison’s hair or looking greasy.
Makeup: First, Avon global celebrity makeup artist Lauren Andersen groomed Allison's brows with a brow wax. Next, she played up Allison's baby-blue eyes with a classic smoky eye using a shadow quad palette. Andersen lined Allison’s eyes with black eyeliner and then coated lashes with black mascara. On Allison's face, she applied an illuminating foundation and dusted on a light powder. She then swiped a rosy blush onto the apples of Allison's cheeks. To complete the look, Andersen applied a pink lipstick to Allison’s lips.
