Grammys 2014: Nail Beyoncé’s Red Carpet Look

By  January 27, 2014

Leave it to Beyoncé to blow the crowd away, leaving us all drunk in love with her and her hubby before the show even started. Though Queen B skipped the red carpet, all eyes were on her tresses. But even her mani had something to say when paired with her curve-hugging Michael Costello gown. Meow!

Hair: Before she took to the stage for her sultry number, stylist Ryan Randall started by working a curl-boosting mouse from root to end for definition, brushing the product through with a paddle brush. Then, he spritzed an oil mist for added shine and dried her hair with a diffuser for volume without the frizz. He added extra waves with twist of a flat iron before taming any flyaways with just a touch of hairspray. He polished the bob with another dose of the oil mist before she took her seat.

Nails: Bey turned to her go-to nail ninja Lisa Logan for a multidimensional mani. After prepping her nails, she layered a coat of the metallic purple polish under a red fine micro-glitter polish. She sealed the look with a topcoat to last through the almost 4-hour ceremony and well into the night.
