By  April 14, 2014

With crystal-clear water and villages built into the sides of cliffs, the Amalfi Coast is a place unlike any other. It’s a truly enchanting locale with astounding views at every turn, unparalleled cuisine, and great shopping to boot.

The Gardens of Villa Cimbrone, Ravello

This luxurious garden is home to statues, grottos, temples, fountains, and plenty of rare botanic species. Take a walk through the simply splendid escape, only to find yourself at the Infinity Terrace, in front of one of the most incredible views in the world.

Shops on Capri

If you’re not staying on the island of Capri, the destination is an easy—and beautiful—boat ride away. Once you’re there, head straight for the main strip of shops that’s lined with every high-end designer you can think of. Oh, and be careful with that credit card.

Take a Boat Ride

Whether you choose to take a public cruise or a private ride, this is a must-do. Views of the land from the distance are truly picturesque, and nothing beats a swim in the wide-open Italian waters. Wait in line for a chance to see the wondrous Blue Grotto, an underwater cave illuminated in a brilliant shade of blue by two light sources.

Climb 1,700 Steps to Nocelle

Not for the faint of heart, this trek is a long but rewarding one. The steps to the mountain village of Nocelle, which sits above Positano, are steep and wide, but the views along the way are spectacular.
