Pop Art Nail Art

By  February 12, 2014

A geometric manicure is a chic way to invite loads of color into your wardrobe. Using any of your favorite colored polishes (there’s no limit to how many!) and a few pieces of tape, this manicure is a breeze to create. We used several colors from the Milani spring 2014 collection to deliver a much-needed dose of spring fever.

Items Needed:
Cult Nails Get It On base coat
Milani Peach Innocence
Milani Aqua Brisk
Milani Vivid Violet
Milani Power Periwinkle
KBShimmer Clearly on Top topcoat
Scotch tape
Zoya Remove
Detail brush for cleanup

1.

Start by painting each nail a different shade. (Pictured: Peach Innocence on index finger, Aqua Brisk on middle finger, Vivid Violet on ring finger, and Power Periwinkle on pinkie)

2.

Make sure nails are completely dry before applying tape on an angle across each nail. Be sure tape is pushed down to ensure a solid line. Tip: Put piece of tape on your hand first to remove some of stickiness.

3.

Apply contrasting polishes to exposed half of each nail.

4.

Remove tape immediately, apply topcoat, and let dry.
