Turquoise Stone Statement Nails

By  February 12, 2014

This intricate jewelry-inspired design looks like it took hours to create. But really, all it takes is a couple of coats of a fabulous turquoise lacquer and a few dots of black on top. Even better, a crackled turquoise mani that looks just like the real thing means you can get away with “forgetting” your jewelry for a week or so.

Items Needed:
Illamasqua Nail Varnishes in Noble, Trilliant, and Boosh
Top coat
Thin pointed brush
rhinestones and optional nail jewelry

Apply two coats to 4 fingers of each hand of Noble (turquoise blue) and allow to dry 5 to 10 minutes. Apply two coats of Trilliant (gold) to remaining two nails.

Apply generous drop of Noble on top of Trilliant nails and dot with Boosh (black).

Working one nail at a time, apply topcoat to remaining nails and dot with Boosh.

Swirl Noble and Boosh together using a thin, pointed brush.

At bottom of Noble nails place a rhinestone, adhering with a drop of top coat.

On remaining Trilliant nails add optional nail jewelry as desired.

Apply top coat and let dry.
