Winner’s Circle: the 71st Annual Golden Globes

By  January 12, 2014

Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow. Diddy’s spirited awards banter most likely referred to the Golden Globes’ open bar, but we interpreted it as acclaim for what the Hollywood Foreign Press Association named 2013′s best in television and film.

In a precursor to Oscars glory, the 71st Annual Golden Globes crowned American Hustle‘s leading ladies Amy Adams and Jennifer LawrenceDallas Buyers Club‘s quirky Jared LetoSpike Jonze‘s (slightly) futuristic love story Her; and 12 Years a Slave‘s ensemble cast as the evening’s most exemplary. To Emma Thompson, we applaud your shoeless moment. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, is there another duo as dynamic as you? And, congrats Andy Samberg; you may not have thought it would’ve happened, but we were rooting for you and Brooklyn Nine-Nine all along. Amid a gaggle of Tinseltown’s elite, these were the night’s winningest stars. The Golden Globe goes to…
