Designers Share Their Alternate Ambitions

By  August 26, 2013

Ask-a-DesignerWe can’t imagine what the style scene would be like without some of America’s top designers, but we know they all must have had backup plans and alternate ambitions. And so Glam asked a few of our favorites about what they’d be doing if they weren’t designing clothes. Here are their answers:

Rachel Roy:  “I would either be an editor or an interior decorator.”

Jason Wu: “I’d be a makeup artist. I always dreamt of meeting Kevin Aucoin, but he died right before I moved to NY.”

Georgina Chapman: “I would be a designer. Hands down.”

Phillip Lim: “I’d be a farmer seaside somewhere.”
