Since Clueless premiered in 1995, we’ve all dreamt of dressing like Cher Horowitz. Her computer-controlled closet was enough to inspire a generation of fashionistas to wish they could create and try on their own outfits virtually.
Thanks to the London-based online tech company, Metail, it’s now a reality! Users can enter their dimensions (height, weight, and bra size) to create a digital, 3D model of themselves in order to “try on” various looks online. Plus, you can share outfit combinations on Facebook or over email to get feedback from friends before adding the item to your cart. Metail’s CEO Tom Adeyoola explained to Women’s Wear Daily that the share feature “has been a key experience missing from the online shopping experience, until now.”
It’s time to turn up Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and channel your inner stylist!
