Editor’s Pick: Eloquii’s Rose & Stripes Crop Top

It’s taken me longer to hop onto the crop top trend than everyone else. For one, many brands are frightened to try the trend on plus size gals, and those who do, still don’t seem to cut tops that are flattering for my shape.

Eloquii, on the other hand, gets it completely. While the brand initially launched under The Limited and quickly fizzled, it came back with a vengeance in February thanks to several key members like designer Jodi Arnold (not be confused with CND’s Jan Arnold). The brand isn’t afraid of bold prints and sexy shapes for the curvy set, but I was weary on how they would handle the tiny tops that took over spring and summer runways.

I love when I’m proved wrong! Upon spotting the vibrant (and patriotic) hues, I knew I had to have it for the season. The loose fit allows me to feel like I can breathe while hitting the smallest point of my waist to enhance my hourglass figure. Whether I dress it up or down, I’m sure to stand out in the best way possible. Summer, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! – Valis Vicenty
