When Michelle Williams exits stage left, Emma Stone could be entering stage right. Stone, who was almost cast as the lead in Cabaret before Williams nabbed the role, is reportedly in talks to finally realize her Broadway debut. If things work according to plan, Stone will take over after Williams’ November 9 bow. [Variety]

American Horror Story: Freak Show has got a new attitude. Legendary diva Patti LaBelle will guest star on four episodes of the upcoming anthology as mother to Gabourey Sidibe’s character. She’ll play “a local townsperson who begins to unravel the murderous secrets of Twisty the clown killer,” sans singing. [TV Line]

As the harrowing specifics surrounding Robin Williams’ death emerge, we’d rather honor his wife’s wishes and “focus on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.” That said, we have Vulture to thank for finding five of Williams’ best stand-up routines… all on YouTube. Enjoy! [Vulture]

We’ll be seeing Brad Pitt on the silver screen sooner than expected. His WWII drama Fury, co-starring Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman, has been bumped up from a November 14 release date to October 17. The move pushes fellow Sony Pictures project, The Interview starring Seth Rogen, back to Christmas Day. [Variety]

Another order of Zooey Deschanel, coming right up. TBS and MTV have acquired cable rights to Fox’s New Girl in a five-year syndication deal. The show will air weekdays on both networks, starting next fall. [The Hollywood Reporter]
